How do I access the Newhouse Network?
The Newhouse Network is a database of Newhouse alumni who have volunteered to be networking contacts for students and fellow alumni. In order to gain access to the database students are required to take our Job Hunt series to learn how to conduct a proactive job search and the nuances of networking. The seminar is a way to ensure that students are reaching out to our alumni in a professional manner.
The Job Hunt series is targeted towards seniors and graduate students. Freshman, sophomore and juniors can reach out to the CDC at nhcdc@syr.edu about the process of getting connected to alumni via an appointment with a CDC Counselor.
I’ve taken the Job Hunt series and can’t access the Newhouse Network.
Please reach out to nhcdc@syr.edu with your name, year, program and the dates you attended Job Hunt session 1 and 2. We will check our attendance records and email you the instructions on how to gain access to the Newhouse Network.
