That\u2019s where an elevator pitch saves the day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a 30\u201360 second introduction that tells employers who you are, what you\u2019ve done, and where you\u2019re headed. Think of it as your personal trailer. It is quick, memorable, and showing off your best highlights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you are attending the in person tomorrow at the JMA Wireless Dome or getting ready for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.com\/career_fairs\/355dc972-b81f-46ac-8013-77c9f19a2fc7\/student_preview\">Virtual Communications, Journalism and Media career fair<\/a>&nbsp;on October 17,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;you have to be prepare to make an unforgettable impression. No pressure, right?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Big Three: I Am, I Know, I Can<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This simple formula makes it easy to build your pitch:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>I Am<\/strong>\u00a0\u2192\u00a0adjectives: How would you describe yourself? (Creative, detail-oriented, collaborative\u2026)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>I Know<\/strong>\u00a0\u2192\u00a0nouns: What knowledge have you gained from classes, internships, jobs, or clubs? Highlight an internship, project, or role that proves your strengths&nbsp;<strong>(I can)<\/strong>. End by connecting to the future.
