What’s covered in Newhouse CDC seminars
By Kelly Barnett | September 2, 2020
The goal of our seminars is to address certain topics on which we get a lot of questions from students. Since we’re a small office (of four!) and have more than two thousand students to serve, we use the seminars to help as many students as possible in one “go.” We realize that students have widely varying schedules, though, so we offer each seminar multiple times throughout a semester, on different days and at different times of day.
We recommend that you take advantage of the Newhouse CDC’s seminars to ensure you put your best foot forward. They will also cover the basics of a topic, so if we meet one-on-one (which is an option for all Newhouse students – just sign up through Handshake!), our in-person time can be used for things more specific to the individual.
Below is a rundown of all the seminars we are holding this semester. Seminars will be held in person and virtually on different dates. You can view the full schedule for the semester and sign up for the date, time, and meeting format that works best for you at bit.ly/cdcseminars. We ask that you sign up in advance more than two hours before the start of the seminar.
