Schneps Media is seeking a Video Production Assistant intern to join our team. The Video Production Assistant intern will be an essential part of our social media video strategy and responsible for helping create engaging video content for our brands under the company's umbrella.
Qualifications
- Experience in video editing and content creation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g.Instagram, TikTok,YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Basic knowledge of video design principles and ability to create visually appealing social media posts using Canva, TikTok, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere Pro etc.
Duties
- Assist with all stages of video production, including pre-planning, on-site filming, and post-production editing
- Help organize and manage incoming video content from reporters, creators, and media partners
- Support the Video Director in coordinating shoots, gathering footage, and maintaining production schedules
- Edit short-form video content for multiple platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and web
- Collaborate with editors and reporters to edit and package video content for social, digital, and editorial use
- Contribute to the evolution of Schneps Media’s video storytelling approach by offering creative input and visual direction
