Flip the Lens is a start-up platform for students to create and share video documentaries, explore the human condition, develop interpersonal skills, and make social impact.

FTL empowers students to develop their interpersonal & digital skills
by creating video interviews about being human. 

Qualifications

  • The internship requires a six-week-long commitment and agreement to complete three videos, with the first completed in two weeks, and the second completed the second two weeks of the internship, and the third by the end of the internship.

Duties

  • FTL's interns will create a minimum of three video lessons for FTL by converting digital print curriculum to video.
  • This will involve sourcing or creating imagery to illustrate the voiceover of the script, using content publicly available from platforms like StoryBlocks, Pexels, Pixabay, Creative Commons, Giphy, etc, as well as creating text, graphic slides and animation.
  • Each video will be 5-15 minutes long, and each image should be displayed for about 3 seconds, meaning each video will require sourcing between 100 - 300 images/video clips/graphics.
