Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative UX Design Intern to join our team for the summer. As a UX Design Intern, you will help out in designing user-centric digital interactives for museums and visitor centers. You will work with a UX design mentor to help bring initial conceptual ideas to life. You will have the opportunity to create wireframes based on early creative narratives and paper prototypes, and collaborate with developers, graphic designers, editors, content producers, and more to help shape the user experience of our projects. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in UX design in the creative industry while working on meaningful and impactful projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools, preferably Figma. Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar are also beneficial.

Duties

  • Understand and create user personas
  • Assist in creating, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Conduct usability and play testing to gather insights on user behavior and preferences.
