Qualifications

  • A strong writer and clear thinker

  • Able to design a research approach that uses AI where it adds rigor and do the work yourself where it doesn’t
  • Marketing knowledge is a plus
  • A rising senior or graduate student in Sustainability, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field
  • You care about the role business plays in advancing social and environmental progress
  • Able to work full-time hours

Duties

  • Primary project is leading the next edition of our biennial Trends in Corporate Reports white paper — a rigorous study of how Fortune 200 companies report on sustainability
  • Together we'll design the research methodology, use AI tools to help execute the study across 200 companies, analyze findings, synthesizing complex data into high-level strategic insights, and write the paper
  • Hands-on research alongside AI, you’ll need the judgment to know when to use each
