Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication. Must be good at asking questions and taking notes
- Ability to apply classroom knowledge to article topics
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Outgoing, positive, honest, and dependable, with strong follow-thru
- Must be able to take initiative on projects and work independently
- Prefer Proficiency with Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, InDesign
- Able to work part-time hours
Duties
- Independently research and fact check
- Meet with founder and/or Executive Editor via Zoom
- Write blog post with images sourced and cited
- Collaborate with video editor and web developer as needed for in-blog videos and blog posting
- Collaboratively edit post to finalize text and images
- Work with management to come up with prospective topics for posts
