The Student Internship Program provides an opportunity for college students interested in the sports and entertainment industry to experience real life job responsibilities in the field. Students will gain valuable experience working across sports, lifestyle, entertainment, music,
gaming, culinary and media to have meaningful impact on the continued growth of SEICon. We are seeking interns for Fall 2025 semester.
Qualifications
- We are looking for passionate social media experts with experience or interest in graphic arts and/or video editing who love content and sports or entertainment with an appetite to support a fast-growing conference and all the registration, sales, social media and content efforts around it.
- Ability to join a 30-minute weekly team video call (time will be established to best meet the needs of all student interns in multiple time zones with respect to their class schedules and schoolwork being their #1 priority)
Duties
- Responsible for leading SEICon’s outward facing marketing and social media efforts. Each intern will “own” the SEICon Instagram, X, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts and run them on behalf of SEICon, publishing relevant and engaging content and managing and moderating comments via an approval process.
- Interns will be supporting our database outreach efforts, coordinating speaker creative and sponsor elements, podcasts and capturing/editing original content.
- Creating or coordinating graphic layouts, communication messaging with speakers, database maintenance, support and outreach, event on-site management and logistics pre/post/on-site, A/V support, post-event recap reports and assisting the team with various administrative tasks as they come up.
