The Community is looking to hire a curious, creative, and ambitious Cultural Intelligence Analyst intern, the type of person that is (a) fluent in pop culture trends and (b) enjoys dreaming up what it all means for brands. This role is a chance to discover new cultural insights bubbling below the surface and use them to inspire clients and creatives to make brands more interesting.

Qualifications

  • A rising junior or senior in undergrad OR a Grad student working toward or recently graduated from a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or similar program
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with a strong interest in most of the following disciplines: brand strategy, consumer research & insights, foresight, trend forecasting, and multicultural marketing
  • Passion in studying culture and ideating on breakthrough ways for brands to leverage culture responsibly and that is reflective of consumer truths
  • Strong deck design and proofreading skills is essential
  • Fluent oral and written English required, and any Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Prior knowledge of MRI-Simmons, GWI or similar is nice to have, but not required

Duties

  • Support the development of client-facing deliverables including but not limited to primary research studies, trend reports, creative briefs, strategic narratives, competitive audits and cultural POVs
  • Report on cultural trends and consumer insights that are relevant to agency clients and convert them into engaging outputs
  • Conduct research leveraging a variety of syndicated tools & subscriptions, desk research, and social listening
