Qualifications
- Current enrollment in Early Education, Physical Education, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and participants.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to camp locations (elementary, middle, high schools, and some parks) throughout the Greater Twin Cities metro area.
- Must have availability to work late afternoons, evenings, and weekends, but scheduling can be accommodated around school commitments.
- Preferred: Prior experience in coaching and/or childcare.
Duties
- Actively coach children between the ages of 2-14 years in various sports camps. Provide clear instruction, ensure a safe environment, and inspire a love for sports and physical activity.
- Gain valuable skills and knowledge to progress towards becoming a camp Director. Learn how to effectively operate a youth sports camp, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Marketing responsibilities would include capturing live content from sports programs you are coaching, posting a combination of live content and static posts on social media, and designing flyers to advertise upcoming programs.
