We specialize in serving advocacy groups, social justice-focused coalitions, and nonprofit organizations. Our team is passionate about empowering our clients to communicate their unique stories and missions, build engaged communities, and drive meaningful action. As a fellow, we require a minimum 9-12 month commitment. 

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work early morning for follow-up calls to press
• Must have writing and copy-editing experience
• Demonstrated interest in communications, public relations, and/or related fields
• Excellent written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in social justice news and changes in the political scene

Duties

• Creating and maintaining press and media lists
• Manage follow-up calls to reporters, press, and news outlets for clients
• Primary research on podcasts, events, speakerships, etc., and lead in communication structures from start to finish
• Compiling, organizing, and distributing news clips
• Pitching articles to a variety of regional, national, and international news outlets
