Comedy UO produces after-hours pop-up comedy shows in unique venues around NYC (think: barber shops, laundromats, florists, candy stores, scuba shops, bookstores, even Katz’s Deli, and more). We’re looking for an eager student with a passion for comedy and an interest in live event physical production. Learn more about us here: https://www.instagram.com/comedy.uo/ This opportunity revolves around live show production. Our events are on weeknights and some weekend nights several nights a month. Call time is typically mid-afternoon and wrap is around midnight, sometimes later. Pay to be discussed.
Qualifications
- Intermediate Adobe Photoshop
- Graphic Design skills
- Production experience a plus
- Marketing knowledge is a plus
- Lives in NYC (majority of our events are in Manhattan)
- Interest in standup comedy & live event production
- Proficient in graphic design and experience making pitch decks
- Willing to work flexible hours on show nights
- Marketing knowledge is a plus
- Punctuality is a must!
