We seek a dynamic and motivated business strategy intern to join our team. As a business strategy intern, you will be able to work on impactful projects and gain hands-on experience in the sports industry for up to six months. More specifically, this position will focus on financial modeling and business planning as it relates to the MLBPA’s youth sports initiative, with a special emphasis on the youth baseball and softball industries.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a master's program or a recent graduate student in business administration, marketing, or finance
- General familiarity with baseball and/or softball and a basic understanding of youth sports
- Must know how to put together business plans, with an idea as it relates to a sports-related and/or start-up company
Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders and advisors to develop and execute a marketing strategy and business plans.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in youth baseball/softball/sports space.
- Collaborate with the stakeholders to define and create a way to market the business plan.
