OPIS, a Dow Jones company, delivers price discovery, short- and long-term outlooks, expert analysis and market news across the global energy and chemical industries, allowing stakeholders to buy and sell those commodities confidently. The Analyst intern will work as part of a global team that is responsible for strategic, long-term market forecasts for the chemical industry.
Qualifications
- By next summer, you will be: either a rising junior or rising senior in your undergrad program
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English, written and spoken at a business level
- Experience in Python or familiarity with other languages/ tools like R, SQL and MongoDB, desired
- Able to work full-time hours
Duties
- Participate in data and content updates and publications together with global team members
- Provide support in gathering and auditing of input and output data
- Help with the creation and set up of internal models and client deliverables
