Hearst Television is seeking a newsroom intern to assist in various departments.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited college or university at the time of the internship.
Duties
- Assist team members in gathering news and information. This includes taking and placing phone calls from reporters, sources, governments agencies and general public.
- Practice writing and formatting scripts for broadcast.
- Spend time in the field shadowing reporters or anchors at a live report when available.
- Help research and write content for WMUR digital platforms.
- Assist photographers and logistics team with field work and news gathering.
