Job Description:
Schneps Media is seeking a Media Journalist intern to join our Schneps Media team. The Media Journalist will be an integral part of our coverage, producing a variety of multimedia content for various topics relevant to our brands, across multiple platforms such as print and digital media. This role will report to the Creative and Editorial teams working closely with other members of the team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms. You will have the potential to work with our teams including amNewYork, Brooklyn Paper, QNS, Long Island Press, Bronx Times, and others!
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in journalism, communications, film, or a related field
- Strong writing and storytelling skills and ability to write engaging stories for print and digital platforms
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
Duties
- Develop and execute creative content ideas
- Write and edit content for print and digital platforms, including articles and blog posts
- Conduct research and interviews to gather information and insights
