Qualifications
- Current junior and senior undergraduate student, or graduate student studying for a Bachelor’s degree in communications, media production, education, or a related field.
- Experience editing/shooting video and experience working with kids are a plus.
- Proof of being fully vaccinated is required.
Duties
- Complete intern training in technical skills and WHYY’s curriculum.
- Attend each session of the class they are assisting with.
- Guide at least one group of students through the process of producing a complete piece of media.
- Keep track of students progress and ensure all students in the group are engaged in the process.
- Attend regular meetings before class sessions to go over the plan for the day and suggest changes if necessary.
