Fashion Mingle is the global network for fashion industry professionals and offers online journalism internships for students interested in getting a job in the fashion industry.
Journalism internship applicants must be passionate about the business of beauty and fashion and will be required to interview, write, and edit articles on topics related to the fashion and beauty industry. Interns will plan assignments, coordinate interviews, research facts, and post on the blog.
Qualifications
- Undergrad students or grad students in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Be self-starters with the ability to create project plans, execute independently, and communicate in a professional manner.
- Experience with WordPress, Photoshop and SEO is a plus.
Duties
- Coordinate assignments that relate to current news, events, or themes.
- Incorporate and coordinate rights to use digital content for each article.
- Support the creation of press releases, blog posts, and newsletters.
- Curate and edit member-submitted articles.
- Post articles on the blog following style guide and SEO guidelines.
- Create written content for social networking sites.
- Communicate project status in weekly progress reports.
