Protection International (PI), an International NGO dedicated to improving the protection of human rights defenders (HRDs) worldwide, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising & Communications Intern.

This 6/12-month, part-time internship (24 hours/week) offers a flexible hybrid or remote setup out of Brussels. 

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in Master’s or University programs who have a strong interest in international cooperation, development, human rights, partnerships, and advocacy.

Duties

  • The intern will work directly under our Resource Mobilization Coordinator, splitting their time between institutional fundraising and visual communications
  • Assisting with donor concept notes/proposals (e.g., EU, NORAD, SIDA), researching strategic consortia partners, and managing CRM tracking systems.
  • Designing materials like brochures and slide decks, drafting internal newsletters, and coordinating with our Regional Hubs to gather impact stories.
