The Football Analytics Engineering Intern will assist in the development of data pipelines and contribute to data analysis for projects across the Football Operations department. The internship will be conducted on-site in Green Bay, WI from mid-July 2026 to mid-June 2027.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts (experience with dbt a plus)
- Knowledge of a programming language for data analysis (Python preferred)
- Experience developing statistical and/or machine learning models a plus
- Familiarity with football rules and strategy
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions to problems
Duties
- Transform, model, and test data from new and existing sources
- Contribute to weekly game planning analysis, metric creation, and other research projects
- Assist in on-field practice data collection
- Conduct other ad-hoc projects and tasks, as requested
- Be willing to work non-traditional hours within a team environment
