NourishCap.com creates educational content, provides marketing services, and sells high quality products. By interning with us, you get practical training and real-world projects related to applying your major.
This position lets you practice your graphic design knowledge professionally. You'll receive feedback primarily from a business perspective but also from a design perspective. Projects may include improving the visual design and layout of NourishCap.com, internal documents, reports we make for our customers, printed materials, videos, presentations, and more.
Qualifications
- Have a genuine interest in mushrooms
- Have proactive mindset and like voice to be heard
- Have mastered classroom-level fundamentals related to the internship prior to beginning it
- Have detailed note-taking habits
- Have time management skills: organized and dependable
- Have an eagerness to take initiative with ideas and communicate early and often
Duties
- Create designs for use in NourishCap’s user interface, infographics, presentations, web page designs, and other marketing materials that promote Bashpole Software and its clients to a broad audience
- Deepen experience with software that supports graphic design and digital presentation
- Create general advice and guidance for nonprofits on how to improve their marketing, such as improving fundraising campaigns by utilizing the latest design trends
- Participate in a 100% remote environment alongside peers across the globe
- Navigate diverse workplace with varying time zones and cultural backgrounds while maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment
- Attend regular meetings to network and work alongside other teams and departments, preventing isolation and facilitating collaboration. Build strong connections with other interns and staff people through networking, peer collaboration, and other weekly meetings while working remotely
