The Schneps Events Event Operations Assistant Internship offers college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live event production and operations within a leading events and media organization. With decades of experience producing large-scale B2B and B2C events across New York and beyond, Schneps Events provides interns with direct exposure to the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of professional events. This internship is designed to develop practical operational skills, industry awareness, and real-world experience that prepares students for careers in event production, event operations, and experiential marketing.

Qualifications

  • Interns must be eligible to receive academic credit through their college or university.

Duties

  • Assist with the planning and execution of live events, including networking receptions, expos, and awards programs
  • Support event logistics such as run-of-show timelines, production schedules, load-in/load-out coordination, and on-site setup
  • Assist with vendor coordination, including catering, audiovisual, décor, staffing, and venue teams
  • Help manage guest registration, check-in systems, seating arrangements, and on-site attendee flow
  • Support the preparation of event materials including signage, credentials, programs, and event kits
