We’re hiring two, paid (min. wage) Summer 2025 interns to work alongside our editorial and social media team in the newsroom 2-3 days per week. Interns will have the opportunity to witness and work in a fast-paced, breaking news digital newsroom. In addition to assisting editors on research and administrative tasks, the right candidates will work closely with editors to write for TheWrap.com, primarily for our consumer-focused verticals. We pride ourselves on providing our interns hands-on experience and written clips for their professional portfolio upon wrapping their time with us.
Qualifications
- Journalism, media, communications or related fields of study for undergrad and graduate students
- Interest in film, TV, media and the business of Hollywood a must
- Running knowledge and/or interest in learning how SEO and social media impact digital news coverage
- Interns will be required to work out of our Los Angeles office 2-3 days per week at 2034 Armacost Ave. and provide their own laptop
Duties
- Assist editors on research and administrative tasks
- Work closely with editors to write for TheWrap.com, primarily for our consumer-focused verticals
