At JOCKEY, you will be able to try new things, set goals for your development, build a career that fits your expectations, and have fun along the way!  Our paid Design Operations Internship is located at Jockey’s corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI - an easy commute from the greater Milwaukee/Racine areas, Northern IL, or surrounding southeast WI regions.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or related field. GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Strong time management skills in order to meet project deadlines.
  • Good oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to take initiative, demonstrating a proactive attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to ask questions to confirm accuracy.
  • Ability to work at Jockey's corporate office in Kenosha, WI. (No relocation or housing assistance provided for this position.)

Duties

  • Supporting the Design Operations Manager
  • Assisting in workflow optimization by helping create documents of processes within the design team
  • Helping edit existing process documents that can be used to streamline operations
  • Supporting the management of project timelines and deliverables by maintaining tracking documents, ensuring all teams are informed of deadlines
  • Assisting in creation of "How to Measure" Manuals (Requires a Design background, knowing .ai)
  • Assisting in maintaining accurate and organized records of samples
  • Assisting in reviewing, measuring, and recording, samples as needed
  • Supporting anyone on the technical design, design, or print team as needed on projects as assigned by Design Operations Manager
  • Supporting the Design Operations Manager in any other tasks or projects as assigned
