Breaktime Media is looking for an intern who is content-savvy and hungry to learn about digital publishing. This includes both branded and editorial content on Breaktime’s digital sites including, Dailybreak.com and BestDailyRecipes.com. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in writing unique content that captures the reader’s attention in a conversational and inviting manner. Our goal is to ensure that your pieces keep the reader wanting to return to the homepage for more.
Qualifications
- Strategic thinker with a broad perspective.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Basic knowledge of CMS.
- Efficient and flexible.
- We require 10 -20 hours total per week (schedule can be discussed with the hiring manager).
Duties
- Pitch and write stories aligned with the site’s content strategy.
- Adhere to deadlines.
- Upload content to the CMS as directed by the content team.
- Assist the content team with sponsored program needs such as brand-appropriate pitches, proof-reading and any edits that are required.
