We are seeking a Beauty PR intern.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and interested in keeping up with the latest trends and products
- Someone with a passion for the beauty and wellness industries
- Organized and detail oriented
- Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask efficiently
- Avid reader of beauty publications and follower of beauty/fashion/wellness/lifestyle influencers (Instagram, TikTok)
- Able to work part-time hours
Duties
- Overall PR planning & research
- Participation in team meetings/brainstorms
- Assistance with new product launch initiatives, media events, deskside appointments, etc.
- Media Outreach: List building, Understanding the components of a pitch and effective storytelling, Creative mailing ideation and execution
- Use of Industry Tools including: Reporting (Cision, MuckRack, SimilarWeb, Google Drive) and Social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest)
- Client Reporting: Organization of press trackers, Press clip maintenance
