Firelight Films is the award-winning documentary production company behind the films of Stanley Nelson (SOUND OF THE POLICE, ATTICA, CRACK: Cocaine, Corruption & Conspiracy, MILES DAVIS: Birth of the Cool, BLACK PANTHERS: Vanguard of the Revolution, Tell Them We Are Rising) while Firelight Media is dedicated to developing emerging documentary filmmakers telling underrepresented stories, and moving them from the margins to the forefront of mainstream media through high-quality, powerful productions. We produce films that expose injustice, illuminate the power of community and tell a history seldom told by mainstream media. To this end, we are reaching out to source our next cohort of Firelight interns for the upcoming Summer 2024 semester which is set to take place from Monday, June 10th, 2024 and run through Friday, August 23rd, 2024. Our interns support many aspects of our work including pre-production research to artist support program tracking, and by doing so help us further our mission of making an impact through documentary film. Please note: Our internship program is currently operating on a HYBRID basis.
