Company Information
Walden Media’s (“Manhunt”, "Finch", “Baby-Sitters Club”, “Wonder”, “A Dog’s Purpose”, “Chronicles of Narnia”, “Ray”) creative development department is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking interns for the Summer 2024 semester. Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as the capacity to be self-starting and resourceful.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 1) reviewing films, screenplays, treatments and books submitted to the company and preparing coverage, 2) conducting research on various topics of interest, and 3) developing story ideas to pitch to company executives.
There will be opportunities to meet and chat with members of our team, such as the President, Production & Development, SVP, Physical Production, VP of Development and Development Coordinator. We will discuss the coverage and research the interns are conducting as well as opening the floor to any and all questions about the company/industry.
You must be able to earn college credit for your internship. This is an in person internship.
