Company Information

The Syndicate is seeking qualified visual media students to join our dynamic internship program. The Social Media & Content Creation Intern will work side­ by­ side with staff members across various departments and will take the lead with the brainstorming, strategy, and execution of the company’s visual design needs. A large responsibility of the Social Media & Content Design Intern will be to contribute and make video content for a major bands’ Instagram account. This internship offers experience in a professional workplace and will equip the student with exceptional, original pieces to add to their portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about the digital space and wants to apply their knowledge to the entertainment marketing realm.  

Qualifications

  • Someone who lives and breathes passion for music, comedy, entertainment, lifestyle trends, and/or pop-culture
  • Someone who has a finger on the pulse of current social media platforms and trends (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter)
  • Strong short-form video editing skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a MUST – specifically Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of visual trends and standards within social media
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • A self-motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn
  • Superior attention to detail and capable of working on multiple design projects at a given time
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain detail-orientation, and take direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be enrolled in a matriculated program, in pursuit of a degree at an accredited institution
  • Must be able to earn college credit
  • Must be able to commit to working remotely, on a hybrid schedule, or in-office from 10am-6pm, 2-5 days per week (exceptions offered on a case-by-case basis due to class schedules)
  • Must check with your school's Internship Coordinator BEFORE accepting the hiring offer to determine if this position satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit
  • Start & end dates are flexible based on on your schedule
