We're seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sports Sponsorship Intern. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Head of Sponsorships to cultivate relationships with major brands and sell sponsorships across our platform, app, and community events held at premier sports venues. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking individual with a passion for sports and exceptional persuasive skills to gain valuable experience in the sports sponsorship industry.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant undergraduate program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong sales instincts and the ability to be persuasive over the phone
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Duties
- Assist in identifying and prospecting potential sponsorship partners
- Conduct outreach via phone and email to pitch sponsorship opportunities
- Develop persuasive sales pitches and presentations tailored to the needs of potential sponsors
- Collaborate with the Head of Sponsorships to negotiate sponsorship agreements
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship activations
- Track and analyze sponsorship performance metrics to optimize future partnerships
