Partner with the design team to learn all aspects of the design process including conceptualizing, creating, and developing designs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge/Experience Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and self-manage on a day-to-day basis
- Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate effectively
- Ability to use one’s imagination and vision to generate innovative ideas and concepts. Designing, creating, or otherwise producing unique outputs
Duties
- Learn how to design commercial products for existing customers
- Provide freshness and innovation in design (material, print, silhouette) for the brand
- Trend research and market and competitive analysis that is relevant to the brand
- Learn hands on how to design from concept to an actual sample
- Exposure to cross-functional presentations and how to present out design concepts and products
- Designing not just one item, but a small line or collection
