The Marketing Analytics Intern is responsible for maintaining data integrity, analyzing campaign performance data, and updating SQL queries and Python scripts. The ideal candidate has a passion for behavior change and a background or interest in data and analytics.

Qualifications

  • High School GED
  • Proven analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Experience presenting data visually through Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Bachelor's Degree (or in progress) OR 2+ years relevant experience
  • Experience working with web analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Experience working with statistical and database tools (Python, databases, etc.)
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Experience working with social media marketing analytics tools and enterprise-level social media management systems (Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager, etc)
  • Experience working with digital advertising data (display, video, rich media, search, custom units)
  • Experience working with traditional advertising data (TV, radio, OOH, print)

Duties

  • Set up connections between media platforms and Funnel (data collection platform) to ensure all data is being captured. Make necessary adjustments to custom dimensions and metrics as new connections are made
  • Implement website and pixel tracking through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to capture site analytics
  • Provide clear, comprehensive cross-channel reports on marketing campaign performance using client-approved templates and professional reporting tools
  • Run ad-hoc analyses to support internal data-related needs, identify trends and areas of opportunity, and recommend innovative options to optimize paid media strategies
  • Provide online/offline media insights and develop recommendations based on measurement reporting and quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Update existing SQL queries and Python scripts to transform data and enhance analytical capabilities
  • Manage internal collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve behavior change marketing campaign performance
  • Stay up-to-date on new marketing metrics and measurement tools and technologies
  • Other duties as required
