Red Apple Productions is a Manhattan-based film and multi-media production company. We recently produced a film that premiered at Sundance and are fortunately in the process of putting together our next slate of films (feature documentary and now scripted). We are only a team of 2 and are desperately looking to take on a determined aspiring young filmmaker / film lover that wants to get very involved in all things production from the ground up. This position will not be paid but will be awarded school credit in addition to some sort of stipend to be discussed at a later date. While this position is remote, the student will be invited and expected to attend weekly breakfast/lunch meetings.
Some of the work Red Apple needs some help with is line-producing (i.e., putting together budgets), reading scripts and devising treatments, social media maintenance, outreach, etc. Student will be invited to sit in on almost all business calls and likely be invited to any functions, parties and premiers. Given the size of our team and the number of projects we have been approached on and are developing, this is a great experience for someone to get immediate real world experience. We are a very small lax company but with major goals and aspirations and are looking for someone who is also thinking BIG.
