Newsweek is seeking an editorial intern to work with the magazine team for the next six months, taking on assignments for the weekly issue and special projects for digital and print.
Qualifications
- Be organized and detail oriented
- Have reporting and writing experience
- Be comfortable working on stories across a wide range of subjects, which may include politics, U.S. and international news, culture/entertainment, travel, health, technology, and business
- Be a voracious devourer of the news—someone who comes in each morning knowing what’s happening in the world
- Be skilled at spotting a unique way into a story
- Be skilled at writing shareable headlines that get to the heart of a story
- Be familiar with AP Stylebook
