Qualifications

  • Must be a current college student or undergraduate college student within one year post graduation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, computer and research skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage technological transitions for virtual workshops

Duties

  • Work alongside the Manager of Education on grant funded events and educational workshops to include onsite/virtual support, logistics, registration, marketing, distribution of follow-up materials, etc.
  • Conduct research on various topics such as digital and media literacy, working with Indigenous Latinx communities, adult education practices, computational thinking in early education, etc.
  • Gather and process data collected from participants and partners via surveys, informal assessments, and anecdotal notes
  • Create and distribute educational materials for educators, families, and community partners
  • Write summative reports of impact & outcomes of events
