The Life Fitness Internship Program 2024 is now accepting applicants in their junior and senior year. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Summer interns. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Marketing and develop valuable skills and contribute to Life Fitness' mission and goals. 
 
Successful applicants will be assigned meaningful and challenging work suitable for their background. The program advisor(s) and mentors will meet with you regularly to identify and develop your summer objectives. All positions are PAID and based in the Chicagoland area. The Internship Program will run for three (3) months.  

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in full-time Marketing related bachelor’s degree program, graduating in 2024 or 2025
  • Good academic standing, GPA 3.5 or higher
  • Initiative, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt well to different situations and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Duties

  • Update campaign recap decks inclusive of visual assets, analytics and summary reports
  • Monitor paid media deadlines, storage of advertising copy and media results from partners
  • Assist with creative briefs for segment specific marketing campaigns, collateral and sales assets
  • Organize and integrate the right metadata into Nexus (Intranet/Sales Platform) and Widen (Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform) to easily find assets
  • Conduct research on how Marketing and leverage Widen as a template tool to customize assets by brand
  • Assist with customer sentiment competitive analysis via direct pages, other marketplaces (e.g. Amazon)
  • Assist with consumer insight gathering via industry websites, forums and Reddit to understand what exercisers are saying about their needs and challenges with current equipment/app/wearable solutions
  • Assist with an analysis of social media behavior of our competitors (how often they post, what they post about, what gets most engagement) as well as reviewing and sharing user generated content (UGC) via posts identified by Sprinklr
  • Help provide insights to influence positioning, messaging, and go-to market strategy
  • Support in the creation / updating of assets to help simplify technical and product details for easy consumption by all audiences
  • Contribute to helping organize and correct product PDP’s on new website
  • Identify products that should be pushed on social media / email based on competitors feeds as well as identifying unique products to push within our portfolio
  • Actively contribute and have an impact in a business-critical project
  • Perform day-to-day duties and responsibilities in related field or business function
  • Collaborate with fellow interns on a ten-week-long group case study and present the results to senior leaders, stakeholders, and managers
  • Attend and participate in team meetings
