Company Information

We are looking for a motivated and creative Social Media Management Intern to join our team. This internship provides you with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and executing social media strategies for our clients. As a Social Media Management Intern, you will contribute to the development and implementation of engaging social media content, analyze performance metrics and help drive brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their functionalities (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling and messaging
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate engaging content ideas
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience using design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Duties

  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to meet clients' marketing objectives and target audiences.
  • Create and curate compelling content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Schedule and publish social media posts using social media management tools, ensuring consistency and adherence to content calendars
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages and mentions, and respond to inquiries or escalate as necessary
  • Conduct research to identify trends, industry news and relevant content to share with the social media audience
  • Engage with followers and build relationships with the online community through comments, direct messages and interactions
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in creating reports to track social media performance and present findings to the team and clients
  • Support the social media team in brainstorming creative ideas and contributing to the development of social media campaigns
