Evins Communications is looking for dynamic and motivated candidates for our upcoming internship program. This opportunity is designed to guide you during your transition from academia to the professional arena. The internship will provide an environment in which you will grow, develop and enhance professional working skills in a collaborative, innovative and fun work atmosphere. During this time you will put your knowledge & skills into action, and concurrently prepare for a potential full-time position on our team, based on performance and agency availability. This is a fantastic opportunity for seniors or recent college graduates passionately seeking a career in PR, Marketing and Brand Development.
Interns will be working within one of our PR-focused practice groups outlined below: 
--Food, Wine & Spirits – The team represents various food and beverage products (with an emphasis on spirits) but also works with restaurants, storefronts, chefs, mixologists, authors and on industry events.  
--Lifestyle & Travel – This division includes, but is not limited to luxe brands in the wellness, lifestyle products, home & design, private aviation and technology. 
--Teuwen Communications – A division of Evins, this group focuses on marketing and brand strategies for high-end wineries and sommeliers across the globe.

Qualifications

  • Seniors or recent college grads with a Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related degree
  • Must have strong writing skills, and enjoy creative brainstorming
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Personable and team-oriented with a knack for proactive problem-solving
  • Graphic design skills are a plus (Canva knowledge)

Duties

  • Drafting press materials (press releases, memos, and targeted pitches)
  • Coordinating sample fulfillment for key media contacts
  • Compiling press kits, media lists and influencer lists
  • Clipping and copying essential press clippings
  • Assisting the team with client reporting, budgeting, strategic planning and follow up
  • Assisting with event production and staffing
  • Internet research and data mining
  • Warehouse inventory management and coordination
  • Creating social content for various clients for use on social platforms
  • General administrative support and more!
