The intern role supports FIFCO USA’s in-house public relations, influencer and social media agency that plans and executes exciting campaigns on behalf of Labatt and Genesee. If you’re passionate about storytelling, building relationships, and working with two legacy brands, this internship is for you!
The intern provides a broad level of communications support that includes building and maintaining media and influencer lists, campaign ideation, development of publicity and influencer kits, stakeholder outreach, and monitoring and reporting results. In addition, the intern will help execute campaigns and special events, as well as gain first-hand experience helping to manage the company’s volunteer and commercial events.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a concentration in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize work, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who can easily collaborate, take and apply feedback, with a desire to strengthen and develop skills
Duties
- Monitor and report on Public Relations initiatives
- Monitor and report on Influencer initiatives
- Support PR kit assembly and delivery
- Support influencer identification across geographies
- Event activation and support for brand initiatives
- Assist with creating and updating media lists
- Perform related public relations work
- Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Other duties as assigned
