2024 - TLA Summer Internship
The Last Agency (TLA) is looking for an enthusiastic, high-performing Intern to join and support our growing team. We are looking for a teammate that has an innate desire to collaborate, a love for ideation and willingness to learn within a fast-paced, small but expanding organization.
TLA is a New York-based communications agency with a national presence and portfolio of clients spanning the luxury design, hospitality and lifestyle industries.
In addition to providing administrative support, our summer intern will have the unique opportunity to gain visibility into the inner workings of the PR field and assist in performing day-to-day tasks and responsibilities, preparing them for an entry-level role.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program; with concentration or passion in media communications, brand development, art history, urban studies or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General interest in culture: the arts, architecture, design, lifestyle, fashion, culinary, nightlife and/or similar fields
Duties
- Track and update secured media mentions and press hits for all clients
- Utilize media databases and platforms to familiarize yourself with target media outlets and key industry contacts
- Assist in developing client monthly reports
- Assist in the development of project-based pitching materials
- Assist in creating a master contact database
- Actively participate in client brand development and strategy building
- Assist in list development and communications for client and industry events
- Intern will propose and complete a personalized client strategy over the course of their program, highlighting tools, skills and personal interests developed over the 10 weeks
