Andrew Exler Marketing is excited to offer an internship opportunity for a Digital Marketing and Social Media Intern to join the team. This position provides hands-on experience in developing and executing social media strategies, managing client accounts, creating engaging content, and supporting various marketing initiatives. We are seeking a passionate college student eager to dive into the world of social media and marketing.
This is a remote, paid internship with a flexible schedule, providing valuable experience in a dynamic marketing agency. The length of this internship is flexible as long as you are enrolled in a marketing, communications, or related program. Andrew Exler Marketing is committed to supporting interns in fulfilling school credit requirements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a marketing, communications, or related program with a passion for digital marketing and social media
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools, with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to learn about emerging social media trends and best practices
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software is a plus
- Previous experience working or interning with brand accounts is a plus
- Experience with WordPress is a plus
Duties
- Assist in creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, X, and Pinterest
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive engagement and increase followers
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments, messages, and reviews
- Conduct research to identify social media trends and generate new ideas for content and campaigns
- Assist in publishing content for the Andrew Exler Marketing blog, #TheGroundFloor
- Innovate strategies to grow and engage social media audiences for Andrew Exler Marketing and clients
- Monitor and track activity across all social media platforms
- Utilize social media analytics tools to produce reports evaluating campaign performance
- Support photo needs, including editing, curating, organizing, shooting, and posting to social media
- Assist with miscellaneous social and digital projects as necessary
- Attend meetings with current and prospective clients as needed
