As a Commercial Marketing Intern, you'll be an integral part of the team responsible for optimizing our home internet customer experience and driving revenue growth. Your focus will be on understanding customer behavior—what keeps them with T-Mobile, why they might consider leaving, and how we can enhance their satisfaction while ensuring profitability. You'll learn how to strategically upsell to targeted customer segments by tailoring product offerings to meet their needs. Dive into customer research, competitor analysis, and market trends to advise our business decisions.
Your ability to synthesize complex data into a coherent narrative will be pivotal. This internship offers you the opportunity to craft programs that attract and retain customers while delivering tangible value to our business. Your primary focus in this role will be to segment our current home internet customer base, pinpointing opportunities for revenue growth by identifying the products and services that align with their preferences and needs. Additionally, you'll delve into the T-Mobile Home Internet division, scouting for potential revenue streams and strategic areas for expansion You will work cross-functionally across marketing and finance teams to identify areas of opportunity, gain strategic alignment, and implement projects that build total enterprise value.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Duties

  • Synthesize customer insights and business strategies to develop impactful customer initiatives
  • Offer strategic recommendations on programs and offers to achieve business objectives
  • Find opportunities for improvement, evaluate business performance, and address customer difficulties
  • Apply customer, business, and industry data for driving business performance (experience in SQL is a plus)
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills, communicating insights effectively to leadership
  • Prioritize initiatives, showcasing strong organizational skills to ensure the progression of key projects
  • Develop strategies and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve desired outcomes
