The Ithaca Times in conjunction with the New York Press Association is once again offering a paid summer journalism experience at the Ithaca Times, Ithaca.com and the Finger Lakes Community newspapers for college journalists and/or photographers.
The summer experience offers a stipend of $2600 and the chance to learn and work as a professional journalist in Ithaca and the surrounding area this summer. Past interns have gotten a well-rounded and challenging experience covering breaking news, features, arts, profiles and other subjects of their interest and ours while being a staff member in pitching and determining coverage.
A car is helpful but not required for this position
