Company Information

FerenComm is currently seeking candidates for our Summer 2024 Internship Program (Hybrid and Remote Positions Available)

For those interested in entertainment publicity, an internship at FerenComm is an industry master class -- a unique opportunity to gain real hands-on experience under the supervision of the firm’s exceptionally talented staff.  We specialize in the promotion and publicity of critically acclaimed, award-winning TV and audio content for some of entertainment’s most beloved brands including AMC Networks, AppleTV+, Disney Entertainment Television, Amazon’s Prime Video, STARZ, Peacock, Audible, BBC America, IFC, Freeform, PBS, Acorn TV, WEtv, SundanceTV and more.

FerenComm’s comprehensive internship program offers participants the chance to observe and work alongside our passionate, dedicated staff - the kind of nurturing environment that is truly additive to your academic experience. An excellent opportunity to learn from best in class communicators in advance of graduation, our team-oriented approach allows students to collaborate on campaigns from start to finish and gain meaningful insight into how an effective PR strategy can impact the zeitgeist, fuel fandom and redefine the entertainment ecosystem.

Potential candidates should be passionate about TV and pop culture and possess solid verbal, written and organizational skills. We are seeking proficient, detail-oriented, self-starters with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines -- most importantly, candidates should be enthusiastic, curious, approachable, and professional - at Feren, the culture is to work hard but to always have fun in the process.

Our interns gain new skills and advance their understanding of the entertainment industry and unlock their potential through a broad range of opportunities:  the chance to explore the creative process during internal brainstorms, client-facing conference calls, weekly staff meetings and access to top-level executives and media through our Seat at the Table series featuring members of the C-suite and journalists. In addition, FerenComm’s interns have direct, unhindered access to experienced leaders available for one-on-one conversations about their career trajectory.

As part of our program, interns gain a clear understanding of day-to-day client needs through the monitoring of breaking consumer and trade news related to our roster; updating, researching media lists, drafting press materials; supporting our internal team on specific client-facing assignments; attending in person events and screenings when possible, and screening content to identify clips for promotion of our titles.  In addition, participants will create and present an end-of-semester project, an inherent part of FerenComm’s internship program.

Please note this is currently a remote position (although we will have in person opportunities for those interns located in the New York area). All prospective interns must have access to a laptop and wifi and when possible, participate in weekly virtual staff meetings.
