Carol Fox and Associates (CF&A), a Chicago-based public relations and marketing agency that focuses on arts, entertainment and lifestyle clients, is proud to offer a practical, educational and enjoyable internship program. Clients include many of Chicago’s theaters, concert venues, schools, dance companies, fundraising events, special events and visual arts institutions.
The CF&A internship provides participants with access to mentoring and career advice from top-tier communication professionals in this dynamic industry. We are looking for college students and recent graduates interested in gaining solid experience in graphic design, video editing, content creation and social media.
The Multimedia Marketing Intern reports to the social media team on a project basis. Duties include supporting the general marketing and promotional efforts within the office.
Qualifications
- Is creative, artistic and driven to create visually compelling content under tight deadlines
- Is available approximately 15-20 hours per week both remotely and in-office
- Has a relevant academic focus such as Marketing, Digital Communications, Digital Media, Video Production, Photography, or an arts/entertainment field
- Has experience with DSLR cameras
- Has strong technical skills and is looking for hands-on experience
- Has an in-depth working knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
- Is a proactive, organized and reliable team player
- Is available to work occasional evenings and weekends
Duties
- Assist with all photo and video creative needs
- Capture, edit and deliver photo and video assets on deadline
- Execute video editing projects
- Assist with video production – operate cameras, set up lights and run audio equipment as needed
- Assist with photography production
- Assist team with brainstorming concepts for projects
- Attend events and projects as needed, including occasional weekend and evening hours
