CATALYST PLANET is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly engaged Social Media Manager Intern to join our remote team. This internship is ideal for college students who are passionate about travel, global culture, and social action, and who spend a significant amount of time immersed in social media trends and platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be organized, dependable, creative, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Experience with social media platforms, trends, and content creation is strongly preferred.
- This is a remote internship with a commitment of approximately 5–10 hours per week during the academic year, with opportunities for additional hours during summer months. Internship term is one year.
- Applicants must have a strong interest in travel, sustainability, global issues, and social impact media.
Duties
- The intern will help manage and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, YouTube, and other channels while actively contributing ideas to grow audience engagement and expand our social presence.
- Responsibilities include scheduling posts, tracking social media and marketing analytics, attending team meetings, brainstorming campaign and content ideas, and supporting overall digital growth strategy.
- There is also opportunity to help create video and social content.
