Qualifications
- Experience creating social media content, including filming and editing video (personal, academic, or professional)
- Demonstrated experience or coursework in marketing, communications, or digital media
- Proven ability to appear on camera and create engaging content; candidates should be comfortable being featured in videos
- Ability to independently film, edit, and publish content using a smartphone and basic editing tools
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, engaging captions
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must have access to a smartphone and computer capable of supporting content creation, editing, and posting
- Candidates must provide examples of content they have personally filmed and edited. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience appearing in and producing their own content.
- Ability to work part-time hours
Duties
- Create, film, and edit original content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Capture photos and videos of vehicles, inventory, and dealership activity for use in content
- Develop and execute social media posts and campaigns to promote inventory, events, and special offers
- Write clear and engaging captions aligned with current promotions and brand messaging Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and online engagement in a timely manner
- Track and report on performance metrics such as views, engagement, and lead activity
- Collaborate with management and sales teams to identify content opportunities and highlight key inventory
- Stay up to date on social media trends and recommend new ideas to improve reach and engagement
