Graphic Design Internship

The Rochester Red Wings are offering a valuable educational opportunity for a talented Graphic Design Intern. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in creating compelling graphics across various channels to engage both our internal and external stakeholders. Your focus will be on advertising, digital media, and social media, with additional responsibilities related to partnerships and business development. This role will also involve creating in-stadium and in-game elements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in design, advertising, or a related field.
• Prior experience in graphic design or a demonstrable collection of work in a personal portfolio is preferred.
• Proficiency in Apple-based platforms and Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, and Premier Pro.
• Knowledge of digital, social, and new media trends.
• Sports knowledge and photography skills are a plus.

Duties

• Learn to collaborate with the advertising team in the creation and execution of marketing campaign assets for use across various static and digital channels including our website, email content, outdoor displays, and more.
• Gain experience collaborating with the social media content team on the ideation and creation of engaging graphics for use across all official brand channels for both organic and sponsored content.
• Develop skills in designing graphics for in-stadium displays and in-game promotions, ensuring a consistent and engaging fan experience.
• Learn to consult with external agencies and vendors on the development of seasonal and special occasion projects.
• Help define and uphold Red Wings brand standards across all mediums.
