The Simon & Schuster Spring 2026 Internship Program will offer students an unmatched, behind-the-scenes look and learning experience within the world of book publishing.
Qualifications
- No prior experience in publishing is required but a love of books and storytelling is a must.
- To be eligible for the program students MUST be able to commit to working two full days a week.
- Applicants MUST be a full time student in either an undergraduate or graduate program.
Duties
- Interns will be placed within a variety of areas including editorial, marketing, publicity, and production and in those departments, they will be able to explore all aspects of the industry.
- While guided by a mentor, they will experience "a day in the life" of an entry level assistant.
- Interns will be included in all department and company meetings and will be able to contribute to ongoing projects.
Additional Notes
This is a paid program and will run for 8 weeks (two days a week for a total of 16 hours/week) beginning in February.How to Apply
